Trees for the Troops sales are now open!

Thank you for blessing Crean Lutheran Student-Athletes, Athletics, and Missions!

Christmas Trees must be ordered by Friday, November 28

All items will be ready for pick-up between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, at the Crean Lutheran Athletic Complex.

Any items not picked up will be donated to military families at the Pendleton Base.

How do I purchase a tree?
What is Trees for Troops?

  • Trees for Troops is an opportunity for Crean Lutheran student-athletes to reduce their participation fees.

  • Crean Lutheran offers this opportunity in partnership with Reindeer Trees and has been doing so since the fall of 2009.

  • Students will be able to sell Christmas trees at a specific price point, and Crean Lutheran Athletics and the Missions Department receives the profits

    • Athletics Department will track and divide up $ to each program and each player

What is the purpose of Trees for Troops?

  • Allows students an opportunity to reduce their fees

  • Gives people in our community a place to buy their Christmas trees

  • An outreach opportunity for those who serve our nation

    • Buyers will have an option to purchase any item to be donated to Marine families stationed at Camp Pendleton

    • A chance for our community to live out what it means to be “a cheerful giver” (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Why should I buy these trees?

  • Large Selection of Noble or Douglas Firs, ranging from 5 to 9 feet in height

  • High Quality, fresh trees, grown in Oregon, hand-selected for shape, color, and size, delivered within 48 hours of being cut

  • Convenient pick-up process at Crean Lutheran High School, allowing you to avoid crowded tree lots

Can I purchase by check?

  • No, we are no longer accepting checks.

When and how do I pick up my tree after purchasing it?

  • All products will be distributed at Crean Lutheran High School’s Athletic Complex on Portola Parkway on Saturday, December 6 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Any product that is not retrieved during those hours will be forfeited by the purchaser and automatically donated to Camp Pendleton.
