Saints Weekly Athletic Update 10/27 – 10/31


  • Football defeated Laguna Hills 50-7 last Thursday and became the outright Epsilon League Champions! This is the second league title in program history and the first time in school history that they finished the regular season undefeated at 10-0. For the playoffs, they were placed in Division Two as the seventh seed. They will host Leuzinger on Friday, November 7, at Saints Stadium; kickoff is at 7pm.

  • Boys Water Polo won their first round matchup against Carpinteria in the playoffs! It was a back-and-forth scoring game, where the Saints maintained a 3-goal lead at all times. Going into halftime, they were up 10-7. In the fourth quarter, the Saints pulled away to win 21-13. In the second round, they will travel to Damien on Tuesday, November 4.

  • Girls Tennis competed in the Century Conference Individuals and Doubles Tournament last week. The Saints doubles team of Mag Sun and Sara Wang won the Crestview League title! Grace Choi and Maddie Huang-Camba were finalists, losing to Mag and Sara. The team playoff brackets were released, and the Saints were placed in Division Two. In the first round they will host Los Osos on Wednesday, November 5.

  • Girls Golf competed in the CIF Individuals Tournament last week. The Saints had their whole team compete in the competition. They had five girls qualify for SCGA! Those athletes were Sam Davidson, Regina Lu, Ruijia Shen, Sophie He, and Chloe Chen. Today, they compete in the CIF Team Championship.

  • Cross Country ran in the Century Conference Finals Meet last week. On the girls’ side, the team finished second in the Freeway League and qualified for CIF. Gwendy Mo and Adelaide Hare were first-team all-league and Alexis Landrus was second-team. On the boys’ side, the team finished fourth in the Freeway League. Luke Bremmer was the individual champion for the league and qualified for CIF!
