Saints Athletics Weekly Update

Boys Basketball was in Hawaii last week for the Tony Sellitto Invitational. It was a great bonding trip for the boys, where they had the opportunity to play some of the top teams in California. The Saints won their first game against a local Hawaii school, Farrington. In the Semifinals, they defeated one of the top teams in the San Diego Section, Carlsbad. The Saints won 61-47, thanks in part to a big third quarter that opened up the game. In the finals, it was an intense battle with Village Christian. Both teams went back and forth, but the Saints ended strong and won 69-64!

Girls Basketball won their only game of the week against Diamond Bar. The Saints played tough the entire time and came out with a 61-17 victory. They are now 5-1 on the season as they get ready for their Hawaii trip.
