Saints Weekly Athletic Update 3/30 – 4/11


  • Baseball split their series against Canyon over Easter Break. The Saints bats came alive in the first game, scoring 11 runs. The pitching and defense were great in both games, allowing only three and two runs, respectively. While they are 1-5 in league, there are still six games left, and every team has a similar record.

  • Girls Beach Volleyball won both games they played! They swept Yorba Linda on Senior Night and Notre Dame Academy. They have one game remaining before the League Individual Tournament. Congratulations to the Saints, who have secured their third straight Crestview League Title!

  • Boys Golf competed in their first league competition after playing in multiple tournaments to start the season. The Saints went undefeated, winning all three matches by a combined 35 strokes!

  • Lacrosse went 0-3 during the break. They were all non-league opponents. The Saints still have an opportunity to make the playoffs based on where they land in the league standings.

  • Softball went 1-1 in their games. The Saints lost a competitive game against league rival Esperanza. However, the Saints bounced back in the second game of the week, defeating Capo Valley Christian 13-3.

  • Swim & Dive competed in the Mt. SAC Meet of Champions during the break. It was a great event, with the Saints having multiple athletes qualify for the finals and finish in the top ten!

  • Boys Tennis won their only match of the week. The Saints faced off against league opponent El Dorado. The Saints came out victorious, winning 14-4.

  • Track & Field competed in two prestigious events while school was out. A select group of athletes was invited to the Arcadia Invitational, where the Saints competed against some of the best athletes in Southern California. The Saints also competed in the OC Championship. There many athletes put up personal best times.

  • Boys Volleyball split their two league games. They defeated Troy in a convincing sweep, but lost to Sunny Hills in three.
